Tonight...Cloudy. Chance of snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain after midnight. Near steady temperature in the upper 20s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.
Thursday...Cloudy. A 20 percent chance of rain, freezing rain and sleet in the morning. Highs in the lower 40s. East winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph.

Yet another stronger disturbance lifting from southern plains toward mid Ms River valley during fri night and spreading rain chances back across the area. Models show surface low and cold front approaching western by sunset Saturday with widespread showers over area along with isolated thunderstorms from i-55 southeast. Between 1-3 inches of rain possible of i-55 with highest amounts in southeast and this would aggravate flooding problems again. Warmer highs sat in lower 50s northern cwa and lower 60s in southeast , and could be warmer if low pressure tracks further north. Rain chances to diminish from west to east during overnight sat night as cold front passes east of . A welcomed stretch of dry weather still expected Sunday through tue across central and southeast as high pressure settles near Sunday and Monday. Temps are cooler, but still above normal for late Feb early next week with highs ranging from 45-55f.
